Hello! OCO is required under Chapter 43.06C RCW to create rules related to confidentiality and investigations. OCO will be holding a public hearing on its proposed rules on April 29 at 4:30 pm. The public hearing on the proposed rules will occur virtually via Microsoft Teams:

You can find a copy of the proposed rules here. Any person wishing to submit written comments on the rules should do so prior to 5/22 by sending them to joanna.carns@gov.wa.gov. If you have any questions about this process, you can also contact Director Carns at the same email address. OCO will move forward with rule publication at the end of May.
